What we've discovered over the years in working with families, as well as parenting children of our own, is that the important work of nurturing the inner lives of our children begins with ourselves.
By considering the essential role of the brain and nervous system and how they influence the way in which we perceive and manage stress, this class provides parents with both education and experiential learning opportunities to build interoceptive awareness and to practice self-regulation techniques that lead to greater parental self-care and mindful connection to oneself.
Join Molly Buist, Occupational Therapist and owner of The Center for Childhood Development and Jen Rapanos, Child & Adolescent Therapist and owner of Well-Bean for this 5-week experiential parenting class.
