To root or ground describes the action of finding steadiness in your foundation. It's a technique that helps keep you in the present and helps orient you to the here and now. It's a set of self-soothing skills to use when dealing with stress, anxiety or overwhelm.

Well-Bean ROOT is a yoga, meditation and relaxation class to help youth ages 11-14 explore and discover their innate ability to root for managing life's ups and downs. 

Well-Bean educators, Jen Rapanos and Paige Cranick will guide teens through this 60-minute class that includes simple yoga postures, meditation practices and breathing techniques for relaxation.

Come in comfortable clothes and consider layers for comfort. Yoga mats are provided.
