JEN WILHELM RAPANOS, LMSW (she/her)
CHILD & ADOLESCENT PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Jen Rapanos is a licensed mental health therapist with over twenty-five years of experience supporting children, teens, and families. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University in 2001 and has spent her career working in both educational and outpatient settings, developing a deep commitment to supporting youth in understanding their nervous systems, emotions, and relationships, while helping them build the awareness and resilience that support a deeper connection to themselves.
Her approach is rooted in trauma-responsive care and informed by her extensive training in yoga, mindfulness, and somatic practices. Jen blends these modalities with neuroscience and relational work to create a warm, attuned, and holistic experience for the youth and families she serves.
She is the owner of Well-Bean and the mom of two wonderful, kind-hearted children, ages 29 and 19. Outside of her work, Jen finds joy in hiking through the Upper Peninsula, practicing yoga and meditation, attending music festivals, exploring new places, and sharing good food with her family.
Inspired to integrate all her learning, Jen founded Well-Bean in 2014 with the intention of offering a more embodied and whole-person approach to supporting young people and the adults who care for them. She feels deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn from her clients and considers the children she works with to be some of her greatest teachers.
Through the lens of somatic psychotherapy, Jen specializes in supporting youth ages 8–18 and offers consultation and guidance for parents and caregivers seeking tools, insight, and grounded support.
