What we've discovered over the years in working with families, as well as parenting children of our own, is that the important work of nurturing the inner lives of our children begins with ourselves.
ROOTED & RESILIENT (Parenting + The Nervous System)
is a parenting workshop series that invites us to deepen our awareness about how stress activates in our bodies, and then collectively learn somatic practices to both soothe and energize for deep self-care. Each workshop is about embodiment and application; we'll focus on regulation/resourcing practices based on the season and explore how to integrate these internal resources into our daily lives.
Jen Rapanos is a licensed and experienced social worker with over twenty years of experience specializing in child and adolescent care. She has developed a keen interest in supporting youth who are challenged by anxiety and the grown ups who care for them.
Caitlin Grant is passionate about sharing breathwork and somatic healing to help parents become more aware of their patterns; allowing them to become more conscious, present and connected people for themselves, their children and their families.
